We’re Apple Country Radio, Your Community Radio Station!

As a non-commercial low-power FM (LPFM) radio station based in Brookfield, WACF 98.1 is working to be your go-to source for free, accessible, entertaining and informative programs, including locally-grown music, news and more, broadcast from the heart of Brookfield, Mass. Best of all, you won’t need a computer, cable box or subscription to listen!

Our mission is to serve the greater Brookfield area by “community identity through communication.” By showcasing local arts, culture and education, providing locally-based news and information, enabling creative expression for all ages, from students to seniors; promoting media literacy, and providing up-to-the minute emergency information, we hope to entertain, inspire civic engagement and the exchange of ideas that will build and strengthen connections across our listening area.

We’re now broadcasting an automated playlist of over 800 songs of all types at 98.1 FM, and getting rave reviews. But the best is yet to come! Our programming will be limited only by the imagination and efforts of our volunteer producers and show hosts! Possible programs include:
